  • Future Falls City [2] was also inspired by the unseen world of colliding particles being studied at CERN the European Organization for Nuclear Research, where "physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe – the fundamental particles and ... the fundamental laws of nature."  I wanted to imagine what kind structure they will discover and as art critic Zoe Strecker summarized in a review of the piece: http://www.under-main.com/review-lals-luminosity/ "The future is, after all, an imaginary projection built from what we already know..."

Time

What is the form of time? What does time look like?  Is it 1/30 of a second? Is it industrial time or Railroad time? Does it only flow at 60 hertz per second? Or is there some other measure of time we have forgotten that ties us to the sun, stars, seasons or rain? Is it a tall tree, a million year old ecosystem or clean pure water?
